Built for real school moments

Make the practice specific enough to coach

A goal such as 'improve behavior' does not tell staff what to do differently. We examine a recurring situation and identify the adult language, routine, or decision that leaders want the team to practice.

For example, the priority may be how staff respond to early disengagement during difficult work. Leaders can define what to notice, when to offer support, and how to coordinate the next step with the student's team.

  • Agree on the recurring challenge and intended outcome.
  • Define a shared practice without requiring identical responses for every student.
  • Identify barriers in routines, expectations, or instructional access.
  • Plan how leaders will model, support, and revisit the practice.

A clear direction for your team

Make the next response more useful.

Shared direction

Explain what consistent adult response means locally.

Practical priorities

Turn a broad goal into a teachable adult practice.

A leadership rhythm

Plan how the work will be supported after the session.

What the work looks like

Use INSPECT to examine implementation conditions

INSPECT considers the adult, environment, structure, planning, engagement, consistency, and time. Leadership work uses that lens to ask where the system helps adults make useful decisions and where it leaves them improvising.

Sessions may include scenario discussion, response-practice priorities, implementation planning, and follow-up measures. The deliverable is a shared direction the leadership team can explain and support after the meeting.

  1. 01

    Align the leaders

Choose the recurring challenge and intended outcome.

  2. 02

    Define the practice

Name the language, routine, or decision staff will work on.

  3. 03

    Plan the support

Decide how leaders will model, reinforce, and revisit it.

The Rewire position

Understand the moment.
Strengthen the adult response.

Neurodiversity-affirming and nervous-system-aware. Support follows the student’s individual emotional, behavioral, sensory, communication, and learning needs.

ADHD, autism, and learning differences are part of the broader work. Frustration, distress, shutdown, refusal, disconnection, and escalation call for careful observation and individualized support.

01Decode before you decide.Examine what may be beneath the behavior.

02Regulate the responder.Notice adult tone, pace, urgency, and pressure.

03Match the moment.Respond to current needs and capacity.

04Build capacity, not compliance.Strengthen connection and access to learning.

Plan the right engagement

A focused starting point for school leaders

These sessions can stand alone or accompany staff training and district implementation work. Before delivery, we agree on participants, preparation, the decisions to be made, and what follow-through is included.

A complimentary 20-minute school strategy call helps identify the format that fits. Fees are quoted according to scope. Local work can be discussed for Indio and Coachella Valley teams; nationwide delivery is planned according to the engagement.

Your questions, answered.

Who should be in the room?

Include the leaders and team members responsible for the practice you want to strengthen. That may be site leadership, special education, MTSS, or student services.

Can this come before staff training?

Yes. Leadership alignment can clarify the practice target and make the subsequent staff session more focused.

What does follow-up measure?

The team agrees on a practical measure of adult application, barriers, and next adjustments. Measures depend on the local priority and contracted scope.
